Description

The City of Calgary (The City), on behalf of the Calgary Police Service (CPS) is seeking a qualified consulting firm to conduct a business process review specific sections of CPS. The purpose of the review is to systematically evaluate three areas within the Real Time Operations Division (RTOD): the Tactical Unit, Canine Unit, and the Public Safety Unit and make recommendations to improve efficiency, effectiveness and police legitimacy and ensure policing practices within these identified areas are consistent with existing Canadian case law and best practices, emphasizing de-escalation and the preservation of life.
