Description

The City of Calgary (The City) develops City owned lands for industrial and business park development in alignment with The City’s Municipal Development Plan and Industrial Land Strategy.

At the preliminary phase of the development process, lands are stripped of top-soil with the material stockpiled on-site. During the course of the development of the subdivision, The City explores opportunities to dispose of excess top-soil material to off-site locations as a source of revenue to The City or at minimal or no cost to The City.

The City can make available its top-soil stockpiles located on City of Calgary lands to interested parties.
