Description

The City of Calgary requires consulting services to complete an investigative study into feasible technologies to convert landfill gas (LFG) captured at the East Calgary, Shepard, and Spyhill Waste Management Facilities (WMF) to a useable form of energy, to offset greenhouse gas emissions that would result from producing the energy by other means. Proposed technologies would need to integrate with existing LFG collection and destruction infrastructure. Some LFG to electricity infrastructure is currently in place but is not operational, and is to be evaluated for possible re-use.

Proposals must be submitted electronically on the Merx portal located online at:
www.calgary.merx.com

The City will not accept proposals sent by email, fax or hard copy.

Proposals must be written in English.

All Proposals must be submitted on or before the Closing Date and Closing Time. Proposals submitted after the Closing Date and Closing Time will not be accepted.

Proponents may submit their Proposals electronically in Microsoft (MS) Word or Adobe PDF format online on the Merx portal as set out in clause 4.1, above. The electronic copy of a Proponent’s Proposal as submitted online on the Merx portal will be the “Original Copy” of the Proposal.
