17-1515 - Epoxy Line Striper

The City requires one (1) new truck mounted, self-contained, self propelled, 2:1 ratio two-component epoxy application pavement marking machine with a solvent free airless spray system and in-tank integral heating system, featuring a double drop glass bead material system known as a “Line Striper Unit”. The Line Striper Unit must be mounted on a cab and chassis and be capable of simultaneously applying up to four (4) lines in two (2) colors that are at least 20 mm thick. Painting will occur at average speeds between 8 to 14 kilometres per hour and with weather temperatures as low as minus 15 0C. The Line Striper Unit must not be a prototype; custom builds are acceptable.
