Description

The City of Calgary requests proposals for High Priority and Low Priority Towing Services on an as needed basis. Requirements are split by the following schedules:

Schedule 1 – Calgary Parking Authority (CPA) and Calgary Police Service (CPS)
Schedule 2 – Calgary Fire Department (CFD)
Schedule 3 – Fleet Services
Schedule 4 – Calgary Transit

Awards will be made by schedule. Proponents can bid on any or all schedules. The Preferred Proponents(s) will be required to work closely with the relevant City agencies on a day to day basis to ensure Contract specifications and operational needs are met.
Towing services are to be provided in accordance with the specifications and other requirements set out in this RFP

Additional Bidding Instructions

Due to the nature of the work involved in this RFP Preferred Proponents will require either; a Certificate of Recognition (COR), or Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) as endorsed by Government of Alberta Employment & Immigration, Workplace Health & Safety, that the Vendor has obtained certificate in developing and implementing health and safety programs, or proof of enrolment into COR program.
