17-1591 - Travel Risk Mitigation Services

The City of Calgary (“The City”) is seeking proposals for the provision of a cloud based software (SaaS) solution to provide Travel Risk Mitigation (“TRM”) services for employees traveling on official City business outside of Canada. The purpose of the TRM solution is to monitor and notify The City employee regarding travel in transit and at destination for weather, security, and medical risks.
 
The proposed TRM solution is expected to provide access to a website, an application (app) for the employee’s wireless mobile smart phone device, and to the TRM’s Assistance Centre 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in case of an emergency.
 
The Preferred Proponent will be required to coordinate work with The City’s existing travel provider to ensure that the appropriate traveller details are available at the time of employee travel booking.
