The City of Calgary (“The City”) requires the supply and delivery of automated refuse bodies to be installed onto City supplied chassis. These bodies will be utilized to perform collection and transportation of residential waste (black bin), organics (green bin) and recycling (blue bins) to a waste management facility.
The City is seeking proposals from interested Suppliers for the supply, installation and delivery of side load refuse bodies onto City supplied chassis in a variety of configurations and sizes as outlined in the schedules:
- Schedule A: Confined Operational Environment
- Schedule B: Regular Operational Environment
- Schedule C: Confined Operational Environment with Restricted Height.
It is the City’s expectation that delivered Unit will be fully assembled and be ready to be put into service by the City. Each schedule will be evaluated independently to determine the Highest Rate Proponent as The City aims to establish mutually beneficial support and communication between awarded parties to ensure that any issues that may impact City operations are addressed in an efficient manner.
