17-1727 - PI Development Services

The City of Calgary’s (“The City”) is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional development services to The City’s Water Services Control System Services (CSS) Groups. These services will be required on an as needed basis and directed by CSS to complete their PI historian system objectives.
 
Work covered under this RFP will predominantly focus on assignments completed under the control system capital maintenance programs. Types of work assigned will be predominately comprised of the PI Asset Frame (AF) database input/mapping, conversion of existing control control graphics to PI Vision graphics, development of PI standards/new PI Vision graphics/PI reports, PI custom user applications using relation databases, PI hardware/software configurations and other as needed PI related developmental services.

The Negotiations Proponent will be requested to enter an Agreement with The City for the provision of the Deliverables. The term of the Agreement will be for an initial term of up to one (1) year. After the initial term, The City will have an option to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional one (1) year terms for a potential total term of three (3) years.

This procurement process is not intended to create and will not create a formal legally binding bidding process and will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
