The City of Calgary (The City) is soliciting proposals for the provision of services necessary for conducting a “Partnerships” Health & Safety External COR (Certificate of Recognition) Audit. These services are required in order for The City to maintain their COR. The provincial Partnerships in Injury Reduction program requires an external audit every third year to re-qualify for a COR and all business units and the Calgary Police Service within The City will be involved. The Certifying Partner for The City is the Alberta Municipal Health and Safety Association (AMHSA). The last external audit was conducted in 2016.
This audit will renew The City’s COR and will evaluate The City’s Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) against an approved standard. The standard to be used as part of this audit is the AMHSA 2018 Audit Tool or the latest available version.
