Description

The City of Calgary (The City) invites experienced and qualified consulting firms to submit proposals for participation in the asphalt; concrete and soil compliance program.
This program monitors the quality of asphalt and concrete materials used for pavement rehabilitation or sidewalk improvements where The City is to be the ultimate owner. This program includes work within The City’s jurisdiction and not limited to capital programs, special projects, new developments and other construction areas under the control of The City. The program is directed on a day to day basis by The City’s Roads division with daily dispatch of testing technicians, communication and coordination with laboratories and monitoring of testing methods and levels.
The program is intended to achieve the quality assurance of the materials and workmanship on City projects.
It is The City’s intention to award the work to two (2) qualified consulting firms.
