The City of Calgary (The City) is looking for a certified service provider to perform water sample collection within The City of Calgary’s potable water distribution network. The work and services to be provided by the Supplier include but may be no limited to:
- Delivery to specified locations,
- Field equipment calibrations,
- Onsite field testing,
- Data entry into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) database,
- Record management.
The City collects average 200 to 250 units monthly between thirteen (13) sites from one full time staff working a fourty (40 ) hours week and a qualified backup staff with proper vehicle if required to ensure planned schedule for the water collection is met.
The highest rated proponent will be requested to enter an Agreement with The City for the provision of the Deliverables. The term of the Agreement may include a Proof of Concept, with an option in favour of The City to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for an initial term of up to one (1) years. After the initial term, The City will have an option to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for three (3) additional two (2) year terms for a potential total term of seven (7) years.
This procurement process is not intended to create and will not create a formal legally binding bidding process and will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
