Description

The City is seeking proposals from experienced Proponents for the following services:

Schedule A The provision of server infrastructure (blades, standalone servers, and hyper converged infrastructures) for current and future computing requirements; and
Schedule B The provision of services related to the deployment and operational support of server hardware and related peripheral

The Preferred Proponent for Schedule A should:

Be service focused to the needs of The City;
Have well established supplier relationships;
Have established clients within Calgary or vicinity where similar services are provided;
Offer mainstream computing environments that protects The City’s existing investments;
Propose computing environment solutions that are financially responsible and sustainable; and
Have the resources and expertise to maximize investments in hardware and virtualization technologies.

The Preferred Proponent for Schedule B should:

Be service focused to the needs of The City;
Have well established supplier/subcontractor relationships;
Have established clients within Calgary or vicinity where similar services are provided; and
Provide certified experienced staff to service and support the current and future computing environments.

Existing server disposal and destruction is not within the scope of this RFP.
