Description

The City of Calgary (The City) is planning to retain services of a qualified consulting firm to develop a proof of concept to refine its Flood Emergency Reference Manual. The Consultant will:

Review and evaluate existing documents, data and systems in place; and
Develop feasible option(s) and tools.

The final deliverable will integrate various forecasted events, observed flood events, flood response activities, resources deployment, evacuation and flood procedures during a flood event. This project needs services of a multidisciplinary team including hydraulic and river engineers, programmers and GIS Specialists.

Any Agreement resulting from this opportunity will have a duration lasting until project completion.

This procurement process is not intended to create and will not create a formal legally binding bidding process and will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
