19-1667 - Digital Commerce and Transaction System Replacement

The City of Calgary seeks proposals from proponents with the experience and capabilities to supply, implement and support a Multitenancy eCommerce (i.e. multiple Store Fronts) solution to meet basic shopping cart functionality while supporting data distribution and the management of applicable license agreements.
 
The procurement of the solution is a corporate-wide initiative to replace the current City Online system with a single eCommerce solution that is effective, efficient, easy to use, and easy to administer with improved end-User experience, system performance, customer satisfaction, product management, and order fulfillment. This multi-tenancy approach will involve several stakeholders from across various City Business Units and Departments. The purpose of this initiative is to implement a solution to:

• Process transactions and sell City products;
• Distribute City data via an online platform that is gathered, compiled and catalogued in real time from various data sources at The City;
• Allow Users to access City specific data depending on license agreements;
• Allow Company Account Administrators to manage user access, payment profiles, payment methods, and account information (self-service);
• Provide Business Administrators with the ability to manage Users and their profiles, City products and product profiles, and web content management (i.e. web pages);
• Improve User experience with an intuitive User interface with ease of navigation and easy to find information; and
