Description

Notice is hereby given by The City of its intent to enter into contract with Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure (formerly Intergraph Canada Ltd.) to upgrade current Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD).
Calgary Parking Authority (CPA) currently uses The City of Calgary contract for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) utilizing RFP 13-1730, which is also used for by Calgary Police Service (CPS) and Calgary Transit. Hexagon is a proven reliable product.

The current CPA CAD system was purchased under NOI #14-040 (November 25, 2014) to be compatible with The City's Emergency Services and Public Safety Communications. Maintenance, support and licensing obligations are renewable yearly for the useful life of the hardware and software.

The current CAD 9.3 Dispatch System is based on a Windows 7 box, which will no longer be supported after January 2020. The OnCall System is a cloud based system which will enhance Enforcement's operational needs by allowing access remotely which will enhance business continuity.

The City intends leverage the existing license to upgrade current CAD 9.3 dispatch system to Hexagon's new browser based dispatch system.
