Description

The City of Calgary is seeking consulting services to complete projects and renovations of various City of Calgary recreation facilities.

This Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) is for the purpose of retaining up to four (4) Consultant teams for each of the six (6) categories identified below:

Arenas
Aquatic Centres
Athletic Parks
Golf Courses
Master Planning
Prime Consultant with General Recreation Focus

As detailed in Appendix B, projects which fall under each Category may require a combination of the following disciplines:

Prime Consultant services;
Architectural;
Building Structural;
Building Mechanical;
Building Electrical;
Civil Engineering Site Design;
Landscape Architecture;
Sport Amenity Specialist;
Golf Course Consultant; or
Master Plan Development;

The lead Respondent for the Category is responsible for gathering a team that meets the requirements identified in this RFSO. Respondents are invited to submit a response to one (1) or more categories. If a Respondent elects to submit a proposal for more than one (1) category, a separate proposal must be provided for each schedule. Clearly indicate on the cover page of the submission which schedule the proposal is submitted for.

Work will be assigned to the successful Respondent(s) as required by The City, and as defined in the selection process section.

Each Master Agreement will have a term of three (3) years. The term of any Service Level Agreement entered into under a Master Agreement will have a term appropriate to the completion of the Requirements set out therein.

This procurement process is not intended to create and will not create a formal legally binding bidding process and will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
