21-012 - Community Recycling Depots - Rebranding

The City of Calgary currently operates 17 Community Recycling Depots, utilizing 147 City owned Hyd-A-Way PR-6 bins supplied by Haul-All Equipment Ltd. (Haul-All). Twenty six of the bins are currently equipped with one wide chute for inserting recyclables (Haul-All modified PL6-1517 chutes) while the remainder of the bins are equipped with two narrower chutes for inserting material. For consistency and ease of use for Calgarians, The City plans to replace the 2 narrow chutes on the remainder of the bins with the wider chutes and required fillers. The wide chutes will also help avoid large materials being left outside the bins and will provide a consistent look across the fleet of recycling bins. Therefore, the following parts are required:

• 121 cardboard chutes (modified part PL6-1517)
• 121 large door fillers, right side (PL6-5013R RH)
• 121 large door fillers, left side (PL6-5013L LH)
