The City of Calgary (The City) requires the provision to supply all labour, materials, equipment and incidentals as necessary to remediate grass and weed violations and, if required, disposal of noxious weeds on and if, as and when required basis at The City’s request.
Where a property owner is found to be in violation of the Community Standards Bylaw 5M2004 and has failed to respond to a warning notice, a Notice of Corrective Action will be issued and The City or the Supplier will perform the work required to resolve the problem.
The highest rated proponent will be requested to enter an Agreement with The City for the provision of the Deliverables. The term of the Agreement may include a Proof of Concept, with an option in favour of The City to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for an initial term of up to one (1) years. After the initial term, The City will have an option to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional two (2) year terms for a potential total term of five (5) years.
This procurement process is not intended to create and will not create a formal legally binding bidding process and will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
