Description

The City of Calgary (“The City”) requires Suppliers capable of the supply and delivery of mechanical or vacuum sweeper bodies to be installed onto City provided cabover chassis.

The City has a requirement for different types of sweeper bodies for use by various internal customers as outlined in the below schedules:

Schedule A – Mechanical Street Sweepers (conveyor type)
Schedule B – Vacuum Street Sweepers (pure vacuum type)

When required, The City will reach out to each schedule’s Supplier to collaborate and finalize each Unit’s specifications and options prior to ordering to ensure the accuracy of Units before delivery to site. Each Supplier will also be expected to provide ongoing parts and service support throughout the lifecycle of each Unit. The City will consider electric or hybrid solutions through a proof of concept phase.
